VOC  -  Telescopic Materials Handler

This Verification Of Competency (VOC) will determine whether or not a candidate is competent in the operation of a Telescopic Materials Handler at the time of assessment.

ASSESSMENT SUMMARY

Assessment will include oral questions, written assessment and observation of the candidate performing a number of practical tasks, concluded after accumulating sufficient evidence to demonstrate the required competence or non-competence.

QUALIFICATION OUTCOMES

On successful completion of this assessment, students will be issued with a certificate, indicating a Verification Of Competency on a particular Telescopic Materials Handler or number of Telescopic Materials Handlers. It will be branded with 'Gateway Training Consultant Services - RTO 52141'.

VALIDITY OF CERTIFICATION

Your VOC does not expire. It will however very from site to site as to how current it be must be for you conduct the associated works. Please ensure you conduct thorough checks with the relevant site/company you are working for to ensure you remain compliant and not in breach of their procedures.

Course Delivery

Assessment should take no more than 2-3 hours, depending on the size of the group, number of machines tested on, availability of required resources and any site requirements that may effect the assessment process. It is generally conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients, provided there are suitable infrastructure and industry training facilities.

Prerequisite Information

Candidates will need to have basic literacy/numeracy skills and a current High Risk Licence for (CN) Non-Slewing Mobile Crane if the Telescopic Materials Handler has a capacity above 3t to complete this assessment, as per below:
